There are signs on Highway 193 between Fort Lane and Church Street directing citizens to the landfill and waste incinerator (energy recovery facility). Both are open the public.
The waste incinerator is on a private road owned by the air force base. That road is not marked and is easier to find by following signs (energy recovery facility) rather than by physical address.
Fees at both the energy waste incinerator and landfill for citizens are:
- $5 flat fee for a pick up of a load or less
- Vehicles larger than a pick up are weighed at $28 per ton with a $5 minimum
- Commercial fees are slightly different
