On September 1, 2009 Fruit Heights City will begin a pilot program for Green Waste Recycling.  Fruit Heights City was selected as a pilot city because of our size and the number of residents who are currently using a second waste container. 

For the months of March through October the green waste containers can only be used for the disposal of green waste.  During the months of November, December, January, and February the green waste container can be used as a household waste container. 

This service will cost residents who chose to participate $6.00 per green waste container.  Those residents that currently have more than one garbage container may replace a container or add a green waste container.  Those that chose to replace a container can save $2.30 on their monthly utility bill or $27.60 a year. 

If you're interested in paticipating in the green waste recycling program, please complete the form and return it to the city.  Allow 7 working days for the container to be delivered after the form is turned into the City.
